Who would have thought you could take the river with you wherever you go? Introducing the Montana Rivers plate, Montana's newest specialty license plate.  Montana Rivers became available in 2007 and features artwork by Monte Dolack.

The cost? Only $35 to buy initially, and $25 to renew. Buying a Montana Rivers plate is an easy way to show your support for clean and healthy rivers, while making a financial contribution that goes directly to the Coalition and our work to protect and restore the watershed.

So how can you get your vehicles all set up with Montana Rivers plates?  Easy. Go straight to your county licensing bureau and make the buy, or visit the State of Montana website.

If your current plates are about to expire, wait for your renewal notice to arrive in the mail. Then, look for the Montana Rivers checkbox on your mailed renewal notice and enclose $35 with your renewal payment. You can also renew with a Montana Rivers plate by stopping at your county licensing bureau.
