Our Work

At the Clark Fork Coalition, we apply scientific, technical, legal, and education expertise to protect and restore the Clark Fork watershed, a 14-million acre drainage covering Western Montana and northern Idaho. We seek out diverse interests, apply the best science, and engage community to ensure a healthy future for the watershed, and work toward the day when policies and practices fully support our vision of a clean, cold, and abundant Clark Fork and the basin’s residents are engaged in active caretaking of their local rivers and streams.

What We Do

We work with a long list of partners to restore and reconnect rivers and streams, protect clean water from contamination and pollution, and engage the basin’s residents to learn about and care for the Clark Fork.
