Why We’re Here

The Clark Fork Coalition exists to ensure the people, fish, and wildlife of the Clark Fork basin have clean water and healthy rivers. It’s as simple as that. Without those basics, fish and wildlife cannot thrive, our communities cannot be sustained, and our businesses and industries cannot succeed.

Our Accomplishments

Since 1985, the Clark Fork Coalition has worked hand in hand with many partners to notch remarkable gains for clean water and healthy rivers. From the removal of Milltown Dam and restoration of the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers to dozens of CFC-managed water projects that have returned 25+ billion gallons of water to the watershed, we have a solid record of accomplishments and a clear vision of what’s left to do.
