Join us to take care of the river you love.
In Missoula, people don’t just love their river. They’re passionate about treating it right. That’s why every April, hundreds of volunteers come together for the Clark Fork Coalition’s Annual River Cleanup — one of Missoula’s most popular volunteer events.
Last year nearly 700 volunteers cleaned up 4,000 lbs of trash and 651 lbs of recyclables from 15 miles of the river — thank you volunteers! This year, join us on April 22nd to clean up the river, visit with friends, enjoy a free BBQ lunch, and enter a free raffle to win great prizes. Cleanup is from 10am to noon followed by a free BBQ lunch at Caras Park. The day ends around 1pm and you can go home with a full belly and a heart full of pride.
We can’t do it without our amazing sponsors. Missoula businesses contribute in many different ways to the success of the Cleanup. Their support helps with supplies, food, prizes, and coupons for over 700 volunteers, as well as recycling and garbage hauling for all of the trash removed from the river.
Businesses interested in sponsoring the 2017 Cleanup can find out more here. As you know, sponsoring the Clark Fork River Cleanup provides fantastic marketing benefits, but the intangible rewards are just as great.
