Take care of the river you love.
In Missoula, people don’t just love their river. They’re passionate about treating it right. That’s why every April, hundreds of volunteers come together for the Clark Fork Coalition’s Annual River Cleanup — one of Missoula’s most popular volunteer events. This year over 800 volunteers braved blustery wet weather to remove over 4 tons of trash from the river. Now that shows dedication from a community that loves its river!
We couldn’t do it without our amazing sponsors. Missoula businesses contribute in many different ways to the success of the Cleanup. Their support helps with supplies, food, prizes, and coupons volunteers, as well as recycling and garbage hauling for all of the trash removed from the river.
Want to start your own hometown river cleanup? Here’s our how-to guide on organizing a cleanup event.
