The Annual Clark Fork River Cleanup
The Clark Fork River Cleanup is an annual tradition when the community comes together to clean trash along the riverbanks before spring runoff and high water carry thousands of pounds of urban trash and debris downstream. Hundreds of people–including individuals, families, friends, school groups, and businesses–gather to care for and protect our most precious resource: clean water.
Join us Saturday, April 18 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Caras Park in Missoula, beginning with a cleanup of the Missoula river corridor (from Sha-Ron to Kelly Island) followed by a free brunch! Can’t volunteer this year? Click here to support the Clark Fork River Cleanup with a donation instead!

NEW: This year you can clean up the Clark Fork River and attend the IWFF Wild Walk!
We’re excited to announce that this year we’ve partnered with the International Wildlife Film Festival to ensure that families will be able to participate in both our Annual Clark Fork River Cleanup and the IWFF Wild Walk! Our cleanup will get done at 11:00AM and volunteers will be able to head over to the staging area at Caras Park for the Wild Walk to get ready, with the parade starting at 11:30AM.
