The Clark Fork, Blackfoot, and Bitterroot Rivers are the lifelines of Missoula, offering endless opportunities to float, fish, paddle, and connect with nature. As river use has increased among both visitors and locals, so have challenges such as litter, habitat disturbance, streambank erosion, and crowding. The need for creative, community-based solutions have become clear as people, in greater numbers than ever, turn to these waterways for recreation and respite.

Join us Wednesday, July 22 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Confluence Center in downtown Missoula for a panel discussion on the past, present, and future of collaborative river recreation management in the Missoula Valley. Recreation management and conservation experts will share updates on collaborative strategies being implemented to minimize ecological and social impacts of increased recreation on this much-loved river corridor.
