In Montana, riparian areas comprise only about 3% of the landscape, but for the majority of Montana’s bird species, these richly diverse habitats next to rivers and lakes are a critical resource during their life.
Join us for our third live happy hour conversation Thursday, June 11th, at 4:30 pm! Grab your favorite beverage and tune into an interactive conversation where we’ll get up close with some of the bird species that rely on riparian areas, discuss current research in the Clark Fork watershed, and learn how this research is informing the conservation and management of our rivers.
We’ll be live and cutting loose on Facebook with the University of Montana Bird Ecology Lab and Professor Erick Greene.
