Cooling down in the river is one of the best ways to beat the summer heat! Unfortunately, all this river use often leads to more river trash. Let’s clean it up on August 7th! Join Western Cider and Clark Fork Coalition for an evening of cider drinking, floating, and cleaning up our local river. After cleaning up the Clark Fork, we’ll all meet up at Western Cider to celebrate clean water and eat yummy food from Cruz Tacos.

There are two cleanup options:

1) Cleanup and float: Meet at Sha-Ron river access in East Missoula. Cleanup the beach before floating the Clark Fork. Bring your own watercraft or contact Love Boat Paddle Co. or The Trail Head to arrange a rental.

2) Cleanup and cider: Meet at Western Cider to do a cleanup of the downtown stretch of river. Walkers, bikers, and families welcome!

We will supply latex gloves, bags, and point you in the right direction. If you’d like to bring your own gloves, please, do!

If you have questions, contact: katie@clarkfork.org

This event is in conjunction with Western Cider’s Grateful Glass. Here’s how it works: CFC will receive $1 from every glass sold on every TUESDAY of August. Simple as that!
