Grab your waders, work gloves, and shovel…it’s planting time on Lolo Creek!
The Volunteer River Corps is partnering up with the Lolo Watershed Group to spend two days restoring the banks of Lolo Creek, and we need your help! We will be replacing riparian vegetation that has struggled to make a comeback after the hot burning 2013 Lolo Creek Complex Fire. There are two volunteer shifts available…
Morning Planting Shift: 9am-12:30pm
Afternoon Planting Shift: 1pm-4:30pm
Lunch is provided for all volunteers! Just show up a few minutes early if you’re signed up for the afternoon shift, or stay a few minutes late if you’re signed up for the morning shift.
To learn more or to sign up for a planting shift, contact katie@clarkfork.org or (406)542-0539 ext. 212.
