Those homemade swimming pools in Rattlesnake Creek are a great Missoula tradition! But, come September, those rock pools aren’t much fun for migrating bull trout.

In fact, they create de facto dams, preventing this threatened native fish species from reaching spawning grounds upstream. Join us as we dismantle those dams to create a clean, clear passageway for our fish friends. It is sure to be a fun afternoon on the creek! Volunteers must be able to lift heavy rocks and be comfortable walking in flowing water.

Meet at 3pm at the Greenough Park Pavillon.
