Just one year ago Rattlesnake Creek and its wilderness lakes was in the hands of the distant corporations who ran our water system – just a line on a ledger.

We fought to change that. Now, as a new co-owner of Missoula Water, YOU can weigh in on the future of the creek. Join the City of Missoula and Trout Unlimited on March 20 to learn what’s in store, including dam removal, restoration, and recreation opportunities. We waited 100 years for this: Let’s do right by our creek!

This event will have a drop-in format with experts on hand at various stations to answer questions. Members of the public will be able to learn what we have learned based on research to date; learn about the existing options to enhance Rattlesnake Creek and the creek corridor in the area of the dam; view maps and graphs and options for preservation and recreation opportunities; and voice their priorities and preferences for the area after viewing the information March 20th 7-8:30pm at the Missoula International School.
