Snow & Tell Volunteer Days

Volunteer in the new year! Did you know the water year–or period of time for which precipitation is totaled–actually begins in late autumn? In western watersheds, most of our precipitation, and our annual water supply, arrives and accumulates during autumn and winter. This means that hydrological geeks have already been tracking the trends of a new year for months!

At CFC, we’re counting down to a new year of Snow and Tell programing. This education program gets kids outside to explore climate, snowpack, and our regional water supply, and we need YOU to help make it happen. We still have several open volunteer spots for our field trips at Marshall Mountain: January 9 through February 20. Contact volunteer@clarkfork.org for more information.

WHEN & WHERE:
Thursday, January 9 to Thursday, February 20
