This winter, CFC is gearing up to engage over 600 students in watershed and climate science–and we need volunteers to help us pull it off!

Our winter education program, Snow and Tell, gets kids out in the field to explore climate and watershed science, snowpack, and our regional water supply. This program provides students with hands on research experience, in small group settings, all while digging in the snow! We need volunteers to help us keep group sizes small and ensure that students are getting an A+ learning experience.

Why does snowpack matter to river resiliency? How do you dig a snowpit and calculate snow-water equivalency? How do you get involved as a volunteer with CFC? Come to our Education Volunteer Training to find out!

Tuesday, December 18th at 5:30pm at the Clark Fork Coalition Office (140 S 4th St W). We’ll have pizza and drinks and fill you in on all the details.
